Alternative Male big and tall

About us

My name is Jeffrie Moir. In my day I’ve been a singer, actor, model, special effects makeup artist, writer, astrologer, demon hunter, tarot card reader, and run of the mill office worker just to name a few things.

Aside from all of this, I’ve never been a small, or normal, sized dude.

While I have been on a long and hard journey to improve my overall health and have been holding steady for the last several months around 290lbs, at my heaviest I was 424lbs and actively involved in the SLC music, convention, and social scenes.

I remember well the day I went to the Men’s Warehouse informing them I needed something a little more colorful for making appearances at nightclubs, only to be told that all they can get for me in a size 66 suit jacket would be plain and special order.

To this day trying to find awesome clothes that fit me is still much more of a headache than it needs to be. Because it appears when it comes to us bigger guys, the fashion industry thinks we all need to be relegated to boring khakis and polo shirts.

While such a thing should exist, there is no such thing as a “Torrid” for men.

Alternative clothing for plus sized men is a sorely underserved market in which there is a huge demand.

So my mission with this site is to build a community of bigger alternative dudes, or masc presenting individuals, and connect them with awesome resellers (especially lesser known ones), and maybe spread some awareness and put some pressure on other resellers to expand their size options.

As part of the Alternative community our mission is one of celebrating diversity unless you are a Nazi of any kind of variety.

I would like to keep our community a safe space that embraces the LGBTQ+ community, and of course, celebrates individuals and bodies of all shapes and sizes.

What you see right now is just conceptual, though if you wish to share any advice, assistance, or criticisms, do feel free to reach out and let me know what you are thinking.

And of course, this movement wont go anywhere without your help in spreading the word!
